Homemade Orange Sweet Rolls.
DOUGH
1 package active dry yeast (2 and 1/4 teaspoons)
1/2 cup warm water
fresh orange zest from 1 medium sized orange
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3 - 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
FILLING
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 Tablespoon unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
GLAZE
1 cup confectioners' (powdered) sugar
1 Tablespoon orange juice
fresh orange zest from 1 medium oranges
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
